Well hello!
I must say, things are working out just excellently. I was a bit worried about how I would have enough work opportunities with only being home 8 weeks this summer, but everything is working out. I even have time to play sometimes. I spent a lovely day down town with a best freind and my brother. It was just the best.
I don't usually DO blogging, but I thought that with me leaving for France in 25 days, and Tanzania in 6 months, I would please the mother by keeping some sort of record of what I am doing :)
I have had the incredible opportunity to go live in Vence, which is a "subarb" of Nice, France for six weeks this summer. A family from Portland just moved back there, and have invited me to come nanny for them while their children are on "holiday." Needless to say, I am pretty excited, but a bit nervous! I am a language girl. I have spanish down, and have a bit of German and Swahili, but French... not so much! I am lucky enough to be working at a daycare where French is spoken so it has been helping out!
Here is what the town looks like:

Well apparently I am a blogger.
