Hello!!
I am back from Tanzania. Life has been crazy since coming back to the states. Jumping back into school and a very busy semester. But, here are some pictures from Tanzania. A basic overview, we were there for 3 weeks, stayed in various hotels and hostels and home stays. We stayed in the city, and in very rural villages. It was excellent. Very challenging but very good.
Here is a picture of me with some lions :)
This is a picture of me at one of the orphanages we worked at. (Samaritans Village, Arusha, Tanzania)

We rode camels... if you can zoom into my face you should. I was terrified.

This was one of my host families that I stayed with for 5 days. No water, no electricity@

Here is me at Mt. Kilimanjaro National Park!

At the orphanage.

Me with my class I taught at my host mom's school.

Pulling maggots out of the rice at the orphanage. haha.

oh just me and a giraffe!
Miss you Sherwoods!

Some Pictures!

Hello Baylis and Sherwood Families! (I don't think anyone else still reads this!)

School is going well, we just got done with a four day break, so one of my housemates and two other girls and I went to MONTANA. Ashley lives right next to Glacier National Park so we went hiking, and fishing, and horseback riding and all that typical Montana stuff. We also just relaxed a lot which was really nice. and I DIDNT SLEEP WALK ONCE!

What else is new?

I started tutoring for a family with a 1st grader and a 3rd grader doing math and reading. It's fun. The family is great. Spokane is cold. We have lots of deer in our yard because we have 1/2 acre in the back and apple trees. Yesterday I almost ran into one while I was walking to the front door. I was a bit preocupied and looked up and he was 4 feet away from me. Yep. That's about it!
Miss you ALL.

Here are some pictures for you:
Here is the four of us that went to Montana. This picture is actually at greenbluff though, which is a pumpkin patch near our school in Spokane. (Mom from top left then clockwise it goes Gillian, Annie, Ashley then Me.)
Here is Gillian, Myself and Annie holding some of the Trout we caught.

Here is our lovely group, at Glacier. Gillian, myself, Ashley and Annie

There is me holding a trout I caught. Eveyone just LOVED this picture because I am terrified, so I thought I would share it with you.

Bye!

Hello Sherwood Family!!!!

First off, I LOVE MY IPOD!!!! Basically it is the best. And I have removed my roommates Ipod from her Ihome and put mine on. In that picture you can see the color we painted one of our walls. It's pretty great! Next week is my big 21st birthday. Pretty exciting!
Also, I was driving around today in the boonies of Spokane and found a roundabout! and it felt like I was driving back in France!
I've been having a lot of fun telling people about my summer. It's still close enough to the beginning of the year when people say "how was your summer?" And I am the only one that can say I LIVED IN FRANCE!
Your family has made it up in a couple picture frames in my room. I miss you guys a lot a lot. Maybe I will try calling soon! I don't really know how to do that, but I will figure it out.
And, my friend Paul is buying a TUAREG! I told him it was a great car. As long as he didn't want to sell it to anyone in France :)
Anyways, I hope you are doin well, wanted to send you this picture!
Lou's birthday is coming up! I'm pretty excited to go shopping for her present!!
I feel like a real Sherwood because I miss you guys so much.

Hello Sherwoods!

Rog, Perrine, Lou and Ben.

This blog is for me to update you now!

I am home but not for long. I'm leaving in a couple hours for Spokane.

It has been an interesting week back. Not a lot of restful nights as I was waking up at4, but thats ok. I had an interesting discussion with a lady at the cheese counter, Rog, Perrine can update you, I can't remember if I sent the email to you too.

Anyways, my mom was really cute and this is what we had for an appetizer one night. I didn't have the heart to tell her we had the cheese after dinner.

So that is what we ate, after a long day of shopping at IKEA where everything made me think of my Sherwoods!

Well, I best finish packing.

Miss you all.

Ben and Lou- Enjoy your last few days before school starts! Have a great first day!

Au Revoir.
